I'm not sure how to respond to this. I cannot tell what your platform is. You are all over the place with commenting.

I don't think Steinbrenner should be cannonized a saint like the media is attempting to do. I'm not impressed with his accomplishments. Many team owners have winning teams and don't need to drop almost a billion in pay check talent to do it. Let the Yankees mourn while the rest of the country goes about their business as usual.

I don't worry about what Obama thinks, he's told what to think by his "advisors". I commend Arizona and anything they do right now is better than the rest of the paid politicians talking the talk and NOT walking the walk.

He was a major contributing factor to escalating the economic structure in MLB. This equated to high ticket prices which in turn decreased the likelihood for a family of 4 to attend the game.

I detested him for attempting to field the best team money can buy ... RIP.

Sh!t no and I was around too when he was hiring and firing managers back in the 70s...and the overinflated salary of Dave Winfield which set the precedent for "free agents" everywhere. Humanitarian my backside, good riddance and I'm surprised no one killed him before his heart got him.
