I have listened to them at Best Buy, and they sound awesome. But i heard people saying that jbl or others sound better. I have listened to all of them and in my opinion they sound the best. What do you think. Are klipsch good for the price?

Sound is subjective to each person, what other may hate, you may love. Klipsch has a great reputation and make great efficient speakers that can be played loud with very little power.
They are horn loaded speakers which some love and others hate. Since you already found out, you love the sound. Then purchase them.

For an 8 x 10 ft room, a 7.1 surround system is totally overkill. Stick with a 5.1 system. Ideally, ANY surround system has MATCHING speakers on all corners and a comparable center channel. (preferably with matching tweeter and midrange speakers to the other 4) So I would buy the exact same pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers for surrounds and look at various Klipsch center channels and find one with the same size "loaded horn" used by the bookshelves. As far as Subs go, don't even bother with a sub with less than 200 watts and a 12 inch speaker. Anything smaller than that is just a glorified speaker with no tweeter and will not produce any usable low frequencies. And that's my recommendation!

i bought my first pair back in 1978, and they're still going strong! they aren't the tower style that's popular nowadays, but the old box style, but the horns are still crisp and the 12" woofers still pound.
you should buy what sounds good to your ears, not what other people say is the best, because after all, you're buying them for you. and, contrary to what some salesmen will tell you, what you hear is more than just the speakers, the cd/dvd player and receiver effect the sound too. i like to listen to oldies, 70's rock, and country music, to my ears that sounds best on a Yamaha system and my Klipsch. whereas my younger brother is into hard rock and heavy metal, so to his ears, Denon sounds best.
try this at best buy; take your headphones with you and just listen to your favorite cd thru them from the various tuners or cd players. when you find a system that sounds like you want your music to sound, play the Klipsch speakers you're considering thru that system, and you'll know if they're right for you. that's how i buy all my equipment. good luck, i hope this helps. trust your ears, not somebody else's.
I love my 2-pr. of Klipsch KLF-20s
This is how I here it, you like it you buy it because it is for you and not someone else. If they like JBLs, Boston Acustics, Altacs Bose or what ever let them buy those speakers and put them in their homes. I am sure you don't let them tell you what car to buy and the car audio system to put in it.
Do what puts a smile on your face and what makes you feel good inside.
I have a pair of RF 7' type 2's connected to a Marantz K1 pearl amp and am still totally blown away each time i listen to them.I also have a Michell prisma turntable with a Grado gold pickup.I have had a lot of great speakers over the years and in my books the RF 7's are the best I have listened too
My father, bought the Klipsch RF-7's Complete theater.
And it is so loud and clear sounding.
And I wen't with the Bose 7 for my room and it makes them sound like a joke is all I can tell you hope this helps.
In my opinion Klipsch makes the best speakers. I love mine.
