I'm thinking of buying either 16gb or 32gb.
32gb does have larger storage, but is it necessary to have that much?
Tell me how much hours of video, music, and number of applications you have on your itouch.
Update:I just found out that iTouch can only play video for 6 hours. So it does seem like unnecessary to have too much videos while traveling.

16gig = 3,500 songs (or 20 hours of video)
32gig = 7,000 songs (or 40 hours of video)
get the 32.
plus, think of it this way. a small app would have maybe 2mb. one gig is 1024mb (just go with 1000). so you could have 500 of that application and it would take up less than one gig. so you could have 16,000 of that same application on the 32gb.
also, if you think it is unnecessary to have more than 6 hours of video, your wrong. more video = more options. + there is a car charger you can buy. you can charge the ipod and use it at the same time.
my music library is 21 GB, plus 7-ish of pictures, and i usually have 2 GB of movies that i cycle in and out (a new movie every week or so).
but I have the 16 GB. it would be nice to be able to sync everything at once, but quite honestly, i don't mind doing what i do now. i just choose a random mix of my music to fill 10 GB of it, and then hand-select a few pictures i really want to have on there (in this digital age, i have a lot of random pictures i couldn't care less about).
and i have three full pages on my ipod full of applications. 250 MB. so don't worry about them taking up space.
if you can afford the 32 GB and you have enough music to fill it, then get it. if not, then don't bother. it's overkill.
i've got no longer offered and iPod classic as a results of fact the iPod touch got here out so i will't truly inform you if it is going to crash or no longer. yet once you have a great music library flow with the classic in case you pick to have relaxing! Get an iPod touch it rather is in simple terms like mini computing gadget in user-friendly terms no longer as great and could no longer run as quickly besides the incontrovertible fact that it rather is getting there.
The 16gb will hold at least 6 hours of video, and you can always swap videos out.
16 gb should be sufficent but it u want reasurrance, get the 32
16 gb, why would you buy a 32 gb when you won't even use all of it? That's pretty much like paying extra for empty space.
a 16 gb is enough
Depends on what you want to store. If you are storing movies and the such each one takes at least 1GB.
hell the largest card you can get for a phone is usually 8gb, why in the world you need 4x that?
16 gb is a hell of alot bettr
