Hi guys, would greatly appreciate it you could translate this sentence for me.. I know theres Babelfish but I need something that sounds more natural.

"The last time I went shopping was about 3 weeks ago."

I know you could say "san shuukan mae ni kaimono shimashita". But I would like it to sound more like "The last time I went shopping? Hmm.. That would be 3 weeks ago."
