In July, me and my family moved back to our native country (in central Europe), from England. We are already regretting that decision, but I really doubt we're gonna go back to the place where we used to live in the UK. Recently, I had read an article about Australian government looking for foreign people to come to work and live in Australia. I had a conversation about it with my mom, and she said she wouldn't hesitate to go live there if my dad got a job there.
We are a middle-income family. My father is a gym class teacher in high school, and my mom is a homemaker.
Are there any good jobs in Australia that would suit our family?? If so, what and where?
Please help!!

The Australian government only opens migration to people with skills that are in need that year. While secondary school teacher is on that list - only maths and science teachers are able to get jobs. There is a 5-10 year waiting list for PE teachers to be given a placement, until then its casual work (1-2 days a week) not enough to support a family. Also in Australia the vast majority of families are two income earners (unless there is an infant involved). Its almost impossible to survive on a single income over here given the high cost of living (more than the UK).
I would do more research - it would take a couple of years and around 5-10K in fees to get the visa in your hand and then the long wait to get a job. Your father will have to be under 45 otherwise he will be too old for the visa. Its not a decision to make as a knee jerk reaction.
eurotrash? your qualified to judge another nations people? before you can even consider a job in Australia you need to qualify for the appropriate visa to allow you to work being american doesn't qualify you for anything outside the US
