Kitten diagnosed with roundworms.?

My kitten (eleven weeks old) was diagnosed with round worms. The vet said that his level of infestation is at level 3 out of 4; my kitten was given "Nemex Suspension" 1ml. I am supposed to give him three doses (once every three weeks) and then check him again after the treatment is over. I gave him his first dose at home over 24 hours ago. I was expecting to see worms when scooping his feces, but I did not see anything.

Quite honestly, I am a bit worked up and anxious about this situation I have going here with my kitten. I feel the need to wash and sanitize my hands even when I pet him or touch anything he has been around. I have read about how difficult it is to get rid of these "eggs" (ugh) and that they stick to surfaces and skin- basically it makes me feel as if even if I am deworming my kitten, that my room will be contaminated in the end anyway, and that he can reinfect himself. Yes! this is my first time dealing with this sort of thing, and I might just be overreacting, but I cannot find consistent information on this online.

My questions are:

1. Are worms always apparent in feces of the host being dewormed?

2. If the kitten jumps around in his litter and then climbs on my bed, will that infect me?

3. My kitten rubs his face against mine quite a lot, and before I knew about his worms I allowed him

to rub his nose on my lips. What are the chances of being infected that way?

4. My kitten also sleeps with me, I've tried getting him down, but he automatically jumps on, and

honestly I love his company so I don't mind, is this bad (due to his current condition)?

5. How long before my kitten is worm-free?

Thank you all so much for your time and help!
