laptop hard drive in desktop?
The hard drive in my laptop wouldn't start one day,, when I tried to reinstall Visa I got a blue screen and then errors.. I bought another hard drive and reinstalled vista,,,,,
My question is my desktop has windows XP and I want to put my working vista hard drive in my desktop just to try to make a clone of it on the hard drive that gave me errors...

you can use a cable to plug in the hdds via usb however you would need 2 cables. tiger direct has one for most models of hdd and should work for your drives. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtool...
