How should I sort my red and white flannel shirt? in the darks or lights? I put it in the lights once and it turned my light colored shirts into a really light pink and another time I put them in the darks and the whites on the flannel turned pink because of the other reds in the darks. So what should I do??

Wash it by itself the first couple times.
Wash it by itself with COLD water.
Obviously your color red is seeping into your washing water, you should wash this item always separately. (It will always color other items, if you wash them together.)
