In a nutshell, when I was 16 an online girlfriend pressured me into exchanging nude photos. Soon after, I found out it was a guy posing as a girl. I realize I was young and stupid and what a horrible mistake I made, especially trusting an internet "girlfriend" (I thought I finally found love, as cheesy as that is).
5 years later, to this day, I worry that these photos will come back to haunt me. However, the fact that they were technically of a "minor", they are illegal. If I ever come across them, can I somehow prove I was a minor and get them removed?
This whole situation is causing me major anxiety, and I just want to have peace of mind.
And yes, I am a biologically female.
Update:I mentioned the gender bit, because another poster assumed I was male, due to the fact that it was a "girl". Shouldn't matter really, but I suppose it slightly alters the perspective.

uk? i assume you're from the united kingdom, and by no capacity college of Kentucky! yet all joking asside, interior the U. S., the 18 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous (if stuck sending/receiving pictures) must be tried and convicted of a few sexual offence and spend penal complicated time, and be categorized as a sex criminal.
"And yes, I am a biologically female."
Why was this included? Do you think the laws are different because you are female than they would be if you were male?
If he still has them, he would get in trouble for possession of child pornography. And if you find that he has posted them on any site, you contact the site and let them know you were underage when those photos were taken. You can pretty much guarantee they will be taken down very quickly.
If you ever see these pics on a website, emailing the webmaster and saying "This is me in those pics and I was 16 at the time, so your site is sharing child pornography, fyi" will be enough for them to take it down, just out of fear of bad publicity and criminal prosecution.
If they don't take them down, then you can go to the police. You swearing under oath that you were 16 at the time is enough proof.
Posing means you were abused. Having them on your computer or somewhere else is possession of child porn which is a major felony.
