What tool would you use to prepare a line art in photoshop if you're going to color it with cellshading???? what tool? a method would also be appreciated...
Method one : Draw the image and scan it in. Adjust the levles until u have a strong dark line and a fairly clean white back ground. Then you can fill in or make small corrections with ur pencil and erase tool. Copy this layer twice. Name the top layer outline and change its screen to multiply. The other layer should be named colors you'll be able to drop the basic colors here. (This is very basic go here for a more detailed tutorial) http://www.tomrichmond.com/blog/?p=856
Third : Just draw it free hand with a hard edged pencil tool use ur mouse or get a wacom tablet. It takes some getting used to but once u get it its the coolest thing on earth. I use it all the time.

Get yourself a tablet. and outline it like how you do it traditionally with a pen.
Method 2
Use the pentool. If you want a tutorial on it, go to Deviantart and search for tutorial on using the pentool. there's loads of it.
