My best friend told me that she had once taken LSD ten years. She took a large amount at the time (3 or 4 hits) and had a intense horrible trip. She said she did not come down for around 10 hours. The thing is she swears she still feels it in here sometimes. Like when she is looking at a brick wall or tile floor for a a couple of moments, the lines will start to move a little bit. Is this normal? or could it be someting else?

LSD can cause extreme, long-lasting adverse neuropsychiatric effects, like flashbacks (post-hallucination perceptual disorders), relatively long-lasting psychoses, severe depression or schizophrenia-like syndromes, especially in heavy or long-term users or in people with an underlying mental illness. Some of the long-term problems associated with chronic or heavy LSD use are:
A person can experience rapidly changing feelings, immediately and long after use.
Chronic use may cause persistent problems, depression, violent behavior, anxiety or a distorted perception of time.
Large doses may cause convulsions, coma, heart/lung failure or ruptured blood vessels in the brain.
"Flashbacks" may occur long after use.
The idea that LSD stays in the spinal cord forever is a myth -- an urban legend. Rather, LSD is excreted through urine within a day following ingestion.
They do say that it is a myth though i have had it occur to a couple of my friends but it might have been just long flashbacks?! but anyway they should research and study about these drugs more ... they are quite facinating

It leaves your system within 24 hours. The memories last forever. It is normal. I have had my fair share of every psychedelic many times.
