Well im not too sure if its something to be worried about or not, I did a little bit of looking things up and heard some others had similar things but there really was no good reason. Well, I'm 16 and under my right nipple i have a small pea sized lump, you can't see it just by looking at it and i only found out about it when i was rubbing my chest and noticed a little pain. It doesn't hurt unless i apply pressure to it and i'm not sure how long its been there(I think its recent, have never noticed it before) Any ideas what it could be?
Update:Natasha L, I am not sure if its what you are talking about if you think its what its like in that link, it is not visible at all, and its rather small.

I had the exact same thing. I made the mistake of letting it.. Get bigger.. It ended up being a cist. Just go to your doc and take care of it asap. It's not cancer or anything, just an irritated gland.
Adolescent boys going through puberty will often get lumps in their breasts. It often causes them a lot of worry, understandably so. However, it's quite common. Your doctor will tell you the same thing. IF you have a history of breast cancer in your family, specifically in the males in your family, then you should get it checked out. However, this is extremely rare.
Basically, your hormones are trying to balance themselves out right now, so your testosterone is fighting the estrogen, and boys can often get lumps in the breast area. Give it a couple months, see if it gets smaller or larger. If it doesn't go away after a couple of months, check up with your doctor. Obviously, if you have insurance and have a doctor, then have a checkup now. Your doctor is the best to judge. But you should be fine. Blame the hormones :)
i will initiate off via asserting greater effective than ninety% of breast lumps at the instant are not cancerous. indicators Of Male Breast maximum cancers * small painful lump commonly under the areola (darkish circle around the nipple) * sparkling or bloody discharge from nipple * nipple retraction * ameliorations contained in the floor around the breast * pores and skin ulceration * palpable lymph nodes contained in the axilla (armpit) in spite of the actuality that very no longer likely at your age (strikes commonly greater elderly men) that's important which you bypass back to the typical practitioner and have it examined. As a self proclaimed hypochondriac you recognize you will no longer have the flexibility to relax until eventually you have been given a sparkling bill of well-being from the typical practitioner.
I don't know what it is, but i always get big bumps on my chest. its just acne though so they go away after awhile. Yours could be the same thing.
Could be a cyst. Had one in my neck once. Minor surgery to get it removed. See a doctor.
