mac-book student discount details?
i am from India, i want to buy mac-book from united states, where i have some relations to get it to me.
the price of it is, $ 999, so as i am a student ( going to join in engineering, within 2 months).
can i get the student discount, as apple provided in united states- apple website. [ $ 999 is given for $ 950, and a 8 GB Apple i pod ]

The iPod is not part of the discount. You spend money to buy it, but you get your money back (AFTER SENDING IN THE REBATE).
I'm not sure if you'd get the discount, but I see no reason why you shouldn't. There shouldn't be any need for a double standard. What I would do, is I would call Apple's customer service. I did this recently, and the representative answered EVERYTHING I needed to know.
