I'm interested in playing as a mage/assassin in Skyrim. What skills should I put the most perks in, and what dagger is the best blade? Is it the one you get in the Dark Brotherhood?
Update:How/where do I make/get a daedric dagger? And what enchantments do you recommend me getting on this dagger? Should I wear Archmages robes, or enchant my own armor? I'm also tired of my magika going down. I can only cast one or two spells before it all gets drained out. :/

I would go with Sneak more then Destruction cause it would be easier for backstabs and higher crits then Destruction for close combat and the dagger I think go with elven daggers witch u can steal in a chase by The companions with is located in Whiterun
You want to invest in destruction magic, sneak, enchanting and lockpicking. (A little restoration wouldn't hurt) The daedric dagger is the best. I've tried the blade of woe (Dark brotherhood dagger) and all it does is heal you a little every time you hit something. You can get an enchant that does the exact same thing. My character is an all out assassin. So my skills are one handed, archery, sneak, smithing and lockpicking. I think that assassins are the most overpowered thing in skyrim. My character isn't even high (lvl 27) and can kill anything.

Destruction magic has three things: Fire, Ice and Lightning. Each of these are jacks of all trades, meaning that their ranged as well as close combat. Its just personal preference. Also if you dont want to invest in sneak, go with illusion magic. You can just use the spell tomes muffle and invisibility.
