Isnt it interesting how MJ's death basically stopped all coverage of the deaths of Billy Mays, Farrah Fawcett, and Ed Mcmahon. Im not saying that there should have been no coverage of MJ's death and the controversy, etc. But these others deserved at least a 5 minute story about their deaths and I didnt hear a thing.
Update:Farrah Fawcett was a general actress who became a sex symbol to America
Billy Mays you all probably know.
Ed Mcmahon was most famous for being the side kick on the tonight show from 1962-1995.
Also im aware that Farrah Fawcett did get some news coverage before, MJ's death but she wasnt actually dead. She actually died on the same day as Michael Jackson.

Agreed.
Honestly, the way people are acting about the guys death you'd think it was the apocalypse. I was tired of hearing about it after a day. Personally I care a lot more about starving kids in Africa and the thousands of people who die of cancer in a day than I do about MJ (seriously, where's THEIR 2 hour special on cnn?).
Yeah, he was a good singer but the whole situation has been blown way out of proportion if you ask me...
Well l know Farrah Fawcett`s death they only wanted lt private with no media. the thing is with MJ is he was a singer and very popular this is why they are showing lots of coverage about his death
I never heard a thing about there deaths either really. just people saying oh look theydied nowow lets get back to Michael Jackson
and also everybody hated michael Jackson while he was alive but when he died he was like an idol to a lot of people and they played his music on the radio all the time
i do no longer think of you have chose therapy. in any respect. i will thoroughly relate with each little thing you have stated. i've got executed the comparable issues you have and - merely such as you - i can not recover from how he became the type of outstanding individual and that i additionally experience like i've got no longer favourite him in the time of my existence. i think of the reason being actual the media. observe how lots interest they have been giving him. There are tributes and thoughts approximately him everywhere in the information, web pages, television exhibits, and so on. So what I recommend is attempting to... nicely, forget approximately approximately all of it. pass outdoors, hold close out with acquaintances, do something to evade the thoughts, because of the fact they are going to easily make you further and extra depressed. you merely might desire to get remote from it involved in slightly. It worked for me. and quickly you will comprehend that his legacy lives on via his song and the human beings he touched and, in a manner, he truly did no longer die in spite of everything. i'm hoping i've got helped a splash. Take care! :)
farrah fawcett wasn't really big at the time. and ed who? billy mays had a tribute on discovery channel. man the media just makes mj's death into more than what is is
he was killed by kira
true. i never have even heard about the last two.
billy mayes was kindof my idol *in a joke way with my class* and everyone always had fun imitating him.
mj still deserves a good spot on the list but seriously, so many stories have been made up :p
i heard billys on discovery channel, farrahs was right befor mj's on accsess holly wood, and i didnt know ed died.
I know what you mean! i thought the same thing!
i know this sounds harsh but i suppose his death would get more money from printing stuff on him rather than the others....
so unfair but true :/ x
well MJ was just so much bigger than the others
and they did get mentioned somewhere
also what about the 10000's of good people who die EVERYDAY and don't get mentioned in the news, just because they're celebrities means they should be mourned more?
yeah i found that rly amazing and sad at the same time. The media disgusts me sometimes
