Minecraft Servers!!?!?
I just purchased Minecraft, and I was wondering if there were any servers that I could play on and not have to buy things in order to get items even such as dirt.
I just want a plain survival map where me and whoever else can just live in peace.
Please don't send me a link to a page full of servers because I'm tired of searching through them.

You could always.. make a server.. minecraft.net - Download - it explains what to download and you can search it on YouTube to find out the steps of acutally doing it. It's quite simple.
Why would you need to grief, I see no enjoyment in destroying others artistic endeavors. If there was once a server available in the market that supported griefing there would not ever be any one on the server that virtually constructed something of any worth, simply to be destroyed by a griefer.
