In Minecraft 1.0 I made my own zombie mob trap. And I also put a ceiling light switch in the ceiling, so when I pull a lever, a couple of blocks in the ceiling go up, and glowstone comes in their place. With this I thought that this would stop zombies from spawning there when I want, but instead they just spawn even when the room is fully lit. How so, and how can I fix this?

If your in zombie dungeon then this is normal and also mobs can spawn only 25 blocks or more except when its a dungeon
