I think it's fine as long as they're wearing long sleeved shirts and loose jeans/pants/long skirts. You're not breaking any "rules" by wearing Western clothes. It's one thing to wear Western clothes, it's another to wear revealing, tight clothes. I'm not Muslim, but I have a very devout Muslim friend who wears fashionable Western clothes with her head scarf--of course, they're long sleeved and she never wears shorts. There are a lot of devout Muslim girls in my high school who dress that way and I think it's perfectly fine.
There's nothing wrong with it, as long as you are covered and not wearing clothes that are tight and revealing!
I have a 12-year-old daughter who wears jeans, long-sleeved t-shirts, sweaters, dresses, and plenty of "fashionable" clothes... along with her headscarf!
It's not the religion, its tradition...but still theres a fine line. I think it looks cool with a jumper jeans and a scarf, but a bhurka looks scary. Not a headscarf tied below the neck tho, that looks stupid and like an od lady.
That's cool,i mean if you have to cover your hair, well then don't fight it,use it with jeans,it looks good also.I have friends that wears jeans with scarf, and they look really nice.Don't worry.
What's the problem? It's their religon to wear it. An equivalent could be, why are Christian wearing Japanese cholthes when they wear crosses? Is there a real problem? I don't see any.

The scarf is meant to convey respect. If the religion does not bar wearing Western clothing, why not? Be comfortable!

I don't see no point of covering your hair with a scarf & at the same time wear tight/revealing clothes.

Well I think it's alright i'm muslim and so if it's their religon then okay. But they shouldn't wear big long scarfs, you know.

You should wear what makes you feel good. There's a girl in my soccer team who dresses like that. I think she looks really pretty.
