My 2007 sportster nighster wont start?
I have not run the bike in few months
I charged the batt, bike wont crank and alarm blinkers go on and off continuosly.
Update:batt is fully charged.
new spark plugs.
key fob does not have a button to click.( harley new style key fob)
no starter noise (it does not crank)
all lights work .

If you do have the alarm system on your nightster the alarm will go off when you bring the bike upright if the proximity fob battery is dead. If you want to bypass your alarm to make sure, you have to enter your bypass code through your turn signals. You should have gotten a card with the number when you had your alarm installed.
Also check your fuses to see if they are blown or if the contact area is overly oxidized. I have had to clean the fuses and give them a light coat of conductance paste on my nightster before.
The battery may be to dead to charge. Is the engine turning over at all? Do you have the key fob on you when trying to crank? Let me know if this helps.
turn off the alarm and try changing the sparkplug
You need to disable the alarm.
Did you disarm the alarm?Its still armed.
