Hey,
I bought a 49cc petrol scooter of my friend (wasn't working when bought it) , and i put a new fuel line cable because the old one had cracked. Sealed up the petrol tank because that was leaking, and put a new tyre. But it wont start. I can see that the fuel isn't being sucked into the fuel line cable. What should i do? or try doing?
Update:its a chinese 49cc scooter.. so i cant buy any manuals.. It simialr to the ones you find on ebay.
Update 3:I have vhecked and cleaned the spark plug

Need manuals? check these out http://tank-sports.com/support.html
its actually normal to a degree, its flooding likely. open the throttle all the way when hot starting it(with it against a tree/wall). if it wont start after a few pulls like that maybe one of the valves/rockers is too tight. ive only fixed a few of these newer mini 4 cycles though but most look like regular OHV engines to me so id say flooding and or not enough valve lash.
first things first make sure you have spark and if you do then it sound to me like all you need to do is clean the carb and you should be up and running
maybe you should take it to a mechanic or at least buy a repair manual
