I have be in a relationship for 3 months with a korean man and we consider ourselves a couple. Neither of us are close to being fluent in the others language but between the two of us we somehow make it work and we actually find it kind of fun working to understand each other( when there is time, when we don't have time it is a major obstacle but somehow we get through it).
I know we have not been together an extensive amount of time but I want to try to make this work because we do have strong feelings for each other
Has anyone been through a similar relationship that might have any advice or heads up for me? Thanks a bunch!

I have this going on right now.
I'm Chinese but I've lived in England all my life so my Chinese is really very limited. To give you an idea of how limited, I have the vocabulary of a grade two student.
Anyways, my boyfriend is Chinese and he doesn't speak any English at all. But I'm learning and he's patient. We'll get through this slowly but surely if other problems don't kill the relationship first.
I've not had such experience, but as you said it is a lot of fun, You can learn Korean. And since you two like each other, the other stuff don't matter. Good luck.
It never affected the romance dept.
