Can't say I could figure out why that would be appeasing to him... Not health at all either.. can contract some serious eye infections that way. And no most guys aren't into that.
He's very specific. This probably means it's something he has put a lot of thought into. I would suggest not doing anything you are truly uncomfortable with or untrained to do. But if you can see yourself doing it if it really makes him happy, then give it a shot. Even if it doesn't quite play out right, he will be grateful for the attempt.
