They believe he is about 6 weeks old. He sat outside their door meowing for several hours until they let him in, gave him some milk, and then let him back out because it was nice out that day. A couple days later my uncle comes around and notices the kittens back so he brought him in. It was cold out that day, we live in Michigan. They said the cat's mother had abandoned the kitten; they haven't seen her in a long time.

If they are not interested in keeping the kitten they should surrender it to the local animal shelter. That way it will find a home and your grandparents won't have to worry about it anymore. But if they decide they decide they want to keep it then it should be taken to a vet for a check-up, deworming, possible flea medication, and general info gathering for your grandparents. It should also be neutered or spayed depending on sex which they could also discuss with vet. No more milk like we drink because it is not good for cats, kitten food should be obtained in both dry and canned. Whatever they decide they can always talk to a vet with any questions
They need to take the kitten to the vet to check for problems and FLV, as well as get shots if the kitten is able to get them. Ask the vet about what the kitten should be fed as of now - kitten milk, dry kitten, food, wet food, etc. If your grandparents decide to keep the kitten, don't forget to get it fixed before s/he can get pregnant/impregnate another cat (they can be fixed as young as 8-10 weeks).
Don't give him milk - cats cant digest it and they get sick - especially not kittens. The right thing to do is take care of it, and give it a loving home. If you can't - give the kitten to a home nearby, but make sure they will take care of it. If your grandparents don't mind looking after it for life, show them this and other websites on cat care. I would also suggest taking the kitten to the vet for a check-up.

So what is your question?
And milk isn't good for a cat. They would do better to get a cat food made for kittens.
Swwet it sounds like he likes your grandparents and wants to join your family lol
