She is exactly 7 weeks old today. She was18.5 inches at birth and from head to the flat part of her foot, she is 22.5 inches. Is this normal? She was 5lbs 2 oz at birth so she was long and slender. still is.

It is normal, though it is a big growth spurt. It is also possible that one of the measurements was inaccurate- that happens.
my son was 17 3/4 inches at birth, (34 weeks) and by the time he was 2.5 weeks old he was a hair under 20 inches, i was told there is lots of growth of course but sometimes when they measure babies right after birth they dont necessarily make sure the baby is fully stretched out so the birth measurment can be a liittle less
the measurements when they are born are very inaccurate because they are trying to stretch out a baby that has been scrunched up in the uterus for nine months and i think they rarely get them stretched all the way out to get their correct length. my son was 20 in at birth and at his 3 day appointment he was 22 in.. so there is no way he grew 2 inches in 3 days, they just didn't measure him right at the hospital! so most likely your baby was more like 20 in at birth. i'd be very surprised if those measurements were accurate and she actually grew that much. but good for her, it does sound like she is growing well no matter what!
I woul guess somewhere along the way there was an inaccurate measurement.
