My passenger window screeches. How do I fix it myself?
Flushing the window between the panels of my car door in exasperation doesn't seem prudent. Could you suggest anything less invasive so I can avoid the mechanic? Thanks!
1st clean the window track with a damp cloth, then you will need a can of clear silicone spray(any auto part store will have it)spray the window track really good with the lubricant, roll the window up and down several times.you might want to do all the windows the same way,and have whoever changes your oil do this every other oil change
you can get spray silicone and spray the rubber window channel with it on the outside and inside and roll the window up and down a few times that should cure your problem, the only problem with that is your window will be streaked for awhile.
the only everlasting restoration is to take the door aside and be conscious what's scraping. this is probable the window handbook, yet there is particularly no thank you to tell for particular without seeing it. lots of the areas in there are no longer high priced, yet could be a PITA to place in.
