starting a few days ago started running about a mile everyday. I ussually run really fast and then my side hurts but i want to finish so i just run through it. The last day i did it was yesterday and my sides were really killing me. Now today i woke up and my sides are sore. is it becuase of the running i did or is it a medical problem. I ran about 100 feet really quick today and tey were hurting just like i had run a mile. is it just my muscles in my side are sore?

Update:so they are just sore today becuase i ran too hard yesterday?
Update 3:Its lower than my ribs. almost even with my bellybutton or about an inch lower on the side

You could have some broken ribs or it could just be that you pushed your body too far one day and the next day, your body is punishing you for it. Or something like that.
