Anyone else having similar performance problems with Yahoo Beta?
Emailing has not become any easier or more enjoyable since I had to upgrade to the new Yahoo Beta, hereby some of the issues with which I currently do have but previously had no problems (in earlier versions of Yahoo - have been a Yahoo user for over 10 years). E.g
- opening my Inbox; often no response first few times after clicking 'go to Inbox'
- while typing text in the body of an email there is often a delay of 3-10 seconds for that text to actually appear on screen
- copying text into the an email: delay of upto a minute
- changing an error in an email address has become more difficult
- adding attachments or changing Formats: often this bar does not work
- Having 2 New Email Messages open at the same time (e.g. Compose Message): not possible
- Moving messages to another Folder: upon clicking the Move button (often but not always) a folder list appears though never long enough to actually click on the Folder to which the mesage should be moved.
- Send / Save as Draft: sometimes Yahoo seems to freeze and sending or saving a mesage becomes impossible.

Those are just some of the problems that are being complained about. They are switching to the Classic mail where there are few problems, if not any. I have been using the classic from the beginning and never switched to the last new mail. If you want to switch then read below.
As of May 31st, you can no longer switch, Yahoo has removed the links to return to the classic. But some users said that when they lowered their screen resolution to it's lowest, a message popped up asking if they wanted to switch to the classic mail. Click Yes. Then restart the computer. You may need to sign out and back in also. On your control panel, double click Personalization, then click Display Settings. Make sure you restart the computer. You can give that a try. You can reset the resolution after.
If your previous version was the New Mail, then that is what is now the new Yahoo Mail and you can't get it back.
Some are telling us to turn off Javascript then it will switch back. But it goes right back to the new mail the next time. So that is only temporary
