No sound on desktop after rebuild?
I recently rebuilt a desktop from windows xp to windows 7 and now there is no sound! I even went as far as to install a sound card to no avail!! I have made sure that the speakers are set as default etc--checked all levels etc etc Please any help would be great!

Did you go into the BIOS and disable the on-board sound card so you can use the one you plugged in?
