I heard today that Obama's team has never even wanted to consider Hillary as a potential VP. No offers or ovations have been made- so she is out, unless something can be done in a BIG hurry.
He rejects her outright. (That information is susposed to be from a good source, but I was unable to isolate the exact source.) - Is Obama willing to choose someone he doesn't even want to talk to, if it will get him elected?
So where does that leave us in our speculations?
I doubt it will be Hillary Clinton, but politics has a bad habbit of making strange "bed-fellows".

Biden may have been stringing us along. He probably knew nothing at the time.
And there are others out there, like Chet Edwards, Bill Richardson and Kathleen Sebelius.
Could be Hillary or Biden or even perhaps, dark horse, Jim Webb.
You're forgetting Sebelius.
They've all said its not them.
