Has any formal agreement been made about where the boundaries lie between Scottish, English and Northern Irish waters, and what proportion of the oil and gas lies within Scottish waters?
And will the potential shale oil bonanza in England have any consequences for the oil industry here?
Also, given that the oil and gas are currently UK resources, what additional UK liabilities might we have to take on to balance out the divorce settlement?

As far as I knowm there have been no agreements made about a possible boundary between independent Scotland and UK oil fields.
I doubt that Westminster would happily sign over oil and gas fields just because Alex Salmond said they belonged to Scotland.
