Online Dating and Men?
Why is it that in online dating men will contact you and say how they enjoyed your profile but then when you start emailing them and all, it seems like things become one-sided and you question whether they even like you. What I mean is and believe me, this never fails, they contact you, you answer and ask them a few questions and they answer back ONLY answering the questions you asked them. No asking you questions or anything. I mean it just doesn't make any sense. I can understand you might be talking to someone else but if you can't handle it then at least only contact 1 person at a time.

Well, you know, it's the same thing that happens on real dates. The guys talk about themselves nonstop like they're trying to sell you a used car. They (in my experience) do not ask questions about you unless you volunteer the information yourself. I find that incredibly frustrating. So, I guess that attitude translates itself to online behavior as well.
Narcissistic, I believe, is the correct word.
Most men send copy paste emails to 200 women at once. Why? Because most women don't respond to them so they have to save time and energy.
Most of them didn't read your profile.. they just looked at pics and read one sentence.
It blows my mind how oblivious, naive, and blind women are to the male perspective.
My guess is that if they are only giving you basic answers and not trying to engage you in any way, they have lost interest in you.
However, since they answer your questions, perhaps you should ask them.
