Opinions on a Fender Squier Stratocaster?
I have seen a Squier Stratocaster on eBay which I am thinking of bidding on. It is a 2006 chinese made Stratocaster with 3 single coils and a tremolo bridge. It is completely standard as far as I know.
Would anyone be able to give their opinion and experiences with this guitar and how usable the standard pickups are. I generally play a Les Paul, but am looking for a Squier for the different sound of the single coil pickups. I have a Marshall AVT20 amp at the moment, had to sell my AVT150.

The pick-ups are fine but some of the squier guitars are pretty crappy to play.
They are cheaply built and feel like it.
you play a les paul and you want a squier for the sound of the individual pickups????? Squiers are CHEAP pieces of CRAP made in Mexico and China..Don't Do it!!! just get an American Strat or telecaster.
I mean, honestly, Squiers are fine for beginners or someone that doesn't take their playing seriously...But if you've been playing for sometime AND playing a Les Paul at that, your going to HATE that guitar.
