About a year ago, i noticed a weird feeling under my right rib cage in the front, like over my liver or gallbladder. I felt it and it was a tiny lump bigger than a pea, smaller than a marble, (NOT visible from the outside, can only be slightly felt) that moves under my rib and back on top. I sometimes have a dull pain or a mild burning pain in the area. I ignored it thinking maybe it was a lipoma or cyst. But the last few days I have have worse pain in the area that radiates from the bottom of my rib cage in the front to the bottom of my rib cage in the back.
Even if it is just a lipoma or cyst, I want it removed because it is painful. The reason I put off going to the doctor is because my doctor is HORRIBLE and says things like "Oh, its probably nothing" Okay well, "probably" doesnt make me feel better about it. I want to know exactly what it is.
I'm still going to the doctor, I would just like some ideas from you guys.
I also was in a car accident a year ago. I'm pretty sure I found the lump before that but I dont remember.
In the car accident I injured my middle back. It's been hurting more than usual along with the rib pain.

You could ask the doctor if they could do an ultrasound and
be sure that this is not something more serious than what
they think it is. Considering you are having pain...it would
be best to have this checked out further.
