I have 95 mustang with power windows. The passenger window has been on the fritz for awhile now. It went from working fine to now where it completely stopped working. It's about an inch down and will not go up or down. The driver side window works just fine and the passenger one doesn't make any sound when pressing the button, like you don't hear the window motor. My dad checked it today and got the window to go up and down a few times and noticed this yellow wire that was connecting to the switch was running hot after using the switch. He then pressed the button to go down again and it went down about an inch and died there. This problem has gone on for a couple months now where it might work for a little while and then just stop. Before, slamming the door would make it work but not lately. Any ideas?

Check all wire connections make sure they are all ltight. If they are ok replace the switch on that door.
examine for best resistance in the circuits for that window poor connections at connectors or grounds. do a voltage drop attempt on the motor. in case you have sufficient power and floor replace the motor.
