I'm on CyanogenMod 9, ICS 4.0.4. My original 1650mAh battery hasn't been too stellar, and below is my usage:
- In deep sleep, it loses about 1% per hour, sometimes a bit more. I usually wake up to a 8-10% drain.
- With web browsing over wifi, it loses about 1% per 3 minutes. Which means a fully-charged battery runs dry after 5 hours.
- Games use around the same amount of battery as wifi browsing does, probably a bit higher depending on the kind of game. Max Payne is probably the most demanding game I have on my phone, and it drains a full battery in 4 hours.
- Charging via AC from 0%, by estimation, takes about 3 hours. USB charging is slower, at around 4-5 hours.
- In battery settings screen, the display takes up around half the percentage at any time.
My settings for the phone:
- Brightness is manual, at 10-20%.
- Mobile data always off unless I turn it on.
- Wifi off when not used. Wifi sleep policy set to never, however.
- Mobile network on 3G.
- Syncing set to off, both Google and Facebook accounts.
Diagnosis with CPUSpy and BetterBatteryStats shows that:
- My phone is in deep sleep the majority of time it's not used. Overnight it would stay in deep sleep around 95% of the time.
- I don't have a wakelock problem as far as I can tell. audioout_1, fuel_alerted and other common wakelocks are rare.
So fellow S2 users, what are your thoughts? Is this battery usage normal?

Sadly it is completely normal. I have upgraded to a 3300mAh battery and get a full days use out of my phone with moderate to high(ish) usage.
