Are there any poker machines in Vegas that act in place of a live dealer and allow you to play against other real players playing on similar machines elsewhere in the same casino or other casinos? I am not referring to video poker since that is playing against a machine. I am referring to playing against other real players except through a machine console rather than in person.
I noticed that some casinos have roulette machines that are automated and have a robotic mechanism that runs the game (like rolling the dice) so there is no need for a dealer. Anything like this for poker cash games?
Update:In response to Andy L. What sort of law changes would be needed? I read that online poker has already been legalized in Nevada and some companies should be functioning by late 2012. Would they be manufacturing the poker machines mentioned above?
Also, in the roulette example above, I meant "rolling the wheel".

The Excalibur experimented with an electronic poker table a couple years back, and it only lasted about six months. But you only played against players around the same table, nothing like setting up a multi-casino network.
All games are currently Fully Automated....or "live"....
There are No Games...that are a blend of the two as you've described.
AGT and a few other TOP gaming machine manufacturers would be the ones MAKING the machines. The casinos do not make them.
