Porsche 944 power windows short...?
I own an '89 944 N/A and am having a problem with the power windows...they don't work. I replace the fuse and they work for a short period but then the fuse pops after driving a distance and no more power windows. Where else should I look to remedy this problem?

use an ohmmeter to isolate the problem
test each circuit until you find one with a short,, or low ohm reading
if the wiring in the circuit is good, i would start looking at an internal problem in the window motor itself.
