I don't have a very good diet for a combination of reasons right now and I have lost a lot of weight and I was wondering if a protein shake in the morning as breakfast will help help me gain some weight back plus would it be a good healthy breakfast supplement?

It depends what you put in your protein shake, but I'm going to asume it's bananas, peanut butter, milk, and carnation. And yes, they are filling, and a good way to help put on some muscle mass.
Your Protein Shake will not help you gain weight unless it's a weight gainer protein shake, If it is then yes it will. as for it being a healthy breakfast supplement, I some times use it as a breakfast supplement when I don't have time, just make sure you try and have something else small with it like an apple or a yogurt.
Add some dry oats, fruit, milk, and yogurt. Classic power smoothie and great breakfast.
