My friend is considering having 8 people over and 2 PS3's to have a LAN party. I would bring my PS3 and copy of Warhawk and he'll rent a copy. I remember, though, when my connection was down for a while I couldn't even play split screen when off line and his internet has been awkward lately. If I have two PS3's connected to each other, will the game allow me to have a LAN connection? This is the first time I'm doing this, so any advice you could give me on the subject in general would be appreciated, and any other games you know for the PS3 that can have split while also on a network (ideally 8 players on 2 systems). I remember COD3 could do it on the 360, can the PS3 do the same?
