I've hit all pre-puberty signs and it's been like this for at least 3 years. I'm 13, by the way. The only sign I haven't hit is menstruation.
How long does discharge (white&yellow dots on underwear that you get to prepare you for your period) last before my first menstruation? It seems I've been on this discharge thing for a really long time.
Should I carry around a tampon just in case?
What's the best way to tell my mom about my hitting puberty (hasn't happened yet) without her going off and telling people?
Update:There are three questions, smart one :) But I get that you just read the last line xD

ok your 13, and so am i, you should not use tampons your first year. your not really familiar w ur cycle and dont know how heavy itll be trust me... u can leak thru the tampon and not knw it. pads are good the first few months or year till your ready to have the responsability of a tampon. you can get a disease for leaving it in too long, and also it hurts to put it in and is hard too.... i wear tampons but i been practicing. and discharge will nevr go away. thats normal for a girl. youll get it before and most likely after ur period. jus try to keep clean and if u wanna tell ur mom i doubt shell let people know something personal likethat like serioooouslyy.
" hey mom, i got my period but i would like to keep it personal. im embarrassed
You never really know. It comes at random.
