Public shower rooms?
I'm wondering why women shower rooms have curtains and men shower rooms dont?
I've been to the beaches here in new York with my boyfriend and friends and my boyfriend would always tell me that the men's shower rooms don't have curtains but in the woman's there's curtains. And the same thing as in military academies. Why is that?
I'm just curious.

People think women are more sensitive, you might go so far as to say that people think women are more civilized, which isn't true.
I noticed this too. I think it may be nothing more than a matter of decorating, but it is probably also a modesty issue. I used to take my kids and it was a great help. When I had to work i gave the ok for my brother ro take them for me and that's when I found out their mens had no curtains or stalls, just shower head on the wall, so my girls spent last summer getting quite an education that I did not realize.
