my 3 month old puppy is getting diarrhea and he is vomiting clear stuff, it's been happening for 2 days. Apart from this he is energetic, and he has a good appetite. What is wrong with him?
I recommend taking him to the vet as soon as possible. I can't exactly give you an explanation of what may be wrong with your dog since I am not there to view him or even witness his vomiting and diarrhea but I can at least mention some probable ideas.
It could be that your dog may have a parasite. Parasites should be treated immediately to avoid anyone who is at risk to contract the organism. Parasites can be deadly and I've known three dogs who have died because of them and the failure to have the parasites treated. A veterinarian would take a fecal exam to determine if your dog may have any parasites.
Parvo is another candidate. Though it can affect dogs of all age, Parvo usually targets puppies around 6-20 weeks. This virus is contagious and attacks reproducing cells. It is highly important to have this checked off of your list.
Your dog might have caught a bacteria. Common bacteria to look out for is E. Coli, Salmonella, etc.
Or the most notorious. Your energetic puppy may have digested something it shouldn't have eaten in the first place. Supervision is the key. Whenever you are not keeping an eye or your puppy, crate him or keep him in a puppy proof and secure place.
What I recommend is not feeding your dog for 12-24 hours. Keep him on a rice and chicken bland diet, Canned pure pumpkin is a good home remedy for diarrhea. Make sure the pumpkin has only real pumpkin and not a drop of spices. Let your dog have access to water bowl at all times. I recommend taking him to a vet asap. As you can see, it is better to be positive than risk a life. I took my pom to the vet, spent around 230 dollars, and came out healthy, probably because she has all her shots and such but it is always better to be 100% sure than to have regret it later on.

No one online can diagnose or treat your dog.
Sick pet = vet.
