My computer crashed and I had to reinstall Windows. When I installed Thunderbird again, all the messages from my inbox were gone. I don't have access to the original account since it is a work account and I need the passwords and assignments that were in those emails.

Is there any way to recover them? They weren't deleted or anything, everything was still in my inbox when the computer died. :( If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated!

It's not that I want to deal with Thunderbird, I have no choice, as it is for work and my bosses don't give me access to the server.
