remote start on a 1997 thunderbird?
Thinking about getting a viper remote start on my thunderbird (1997) and i was wondering if i had to have the keys to disable the steering wheel lock, or will the installer permanently disable it? I don't mind for it being permanently disabled. I hate that stupid safety feature! Just wondering if i'll have to have the keys.

The remote starter is electrical, the steering wheel is mechanical so yes you would still need the keys.
