I had two miscarriages. Went to the dr yesterday to try to figure out why. She spent a couple mins. with me and took tons of blood (for what I'm not sure). Then she referred me to an endocrinologist. I am glad taht she is moving quickly but, i dont know why she sent me so quickly (without doing preliminary work-ups) and what is the endocrinologist going to do to help me have a baby....any other people gone through this or can offer advice

I had three miscarriages before having a successful pregnancy. My OB/GYN did some tests before referring me to a Reproductive Endocronologist. RE's have a speciality to diagnose and treat recurrent miscarriages. There is only so much an OB/GYN can do. My OB did lots of tests only for me to have another miscarriage - My first pregnancy after visiting my RE was successful.
Don't be hesitant or worried about seeing a RE, they are very helpful an specialize in infertility in all forms!
Best of luck!
I would jump at the chance of being sent to an RE so quickly, they are specially trained in infertility and will be able to do more testing and procedures to help find out the problem and see what your options are then most regular ob/gyns can. Also no point in her doing them and the RE wanting to do the same and/or more and you double paying for it either.
I know this doesn't appeal to everyone, but I am starting to look into alternative methods of becoming a mom. I am tired of giving blood. I am tired of being looked at like I did something wrong or that I am broken. I am tired of my regular doctor referring me to my OB and my OB referring me to an RE and my RE telling me to relax!!! So, I started seeing a holistic chiropractor and I don't know if it'll work, but she talked to me for ONE HOUR yesterday! Talking to a doctor for that amount of time alone was worth it! We are going to do a saliva test during my next cycle to make sure everything is working properly for me. I know how you feel. We've been trying for 18 months and I've had 1 miscarriage. I hope you will find comfort.
