I'm going into highschool this year and i was just wundering what kind of clothes i should get. We have to change for gym so that part of it i really dont have to pay attention to. I usually by things that are some shade of blue but i want more widely colored clothes this year. Any ideas?Update:Oh and i'm not a preppy preppy girl and i'm not emo or something like that. But i do like some preppy stuff. I dont wear many skirts but i do sometimes and any tops that dont cover your shoulders aren't allowed. THANKS!. school clothes...?

try to develop your own style. the first time i heard that i had no idea what to do. but layering stuff is good, so is patterned things. stick with scene type things, like coral colors (light orange and pinks and salmons etc.) and other combonation. plus i find it fun to develop your own style if you get an outfit, then hit up the local salvation army store (or some other one like that) or second hand clothes store and add just a little bit of that to your outfit, like a necklace or a hair thing or an article of clothing. itll express your individualism, and most likely no one else will have it. =]. i love to shop at macys and jcpennies, wet seal, charlotte russe, and other such stored. shop around for the greatest deals and bargins and youll find quite a treasure. =]

JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BASIC COLORS IN TANKS AND TOPS ..THEN YOU CAN GET THE DIFFERENT COLORS N SHADES MAKE SURE U HAVE A VARIETY...MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BASICS IN W/E YOU PLANNING TO GET BEFORE YU GET AL TH OTHER COLORS...MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE TOO MUCH OF THE SAME COLOR

get clothes that flatter you. dont just get blue. get patterns. and i highly recommend establishing your own styles, it gets you respect and compliments. but obviously only if you can pull it off.
