Im trying to find a program that can record whats on the screen of the mac and also what the webcam is viewing simultaneously. im trying to use it as a sort of surveillance, so i know who is doing what on the mac.
Alternatively, if there isnt such a program, im wondering if there are separate screen recorders and webcam recorders that have a timestamp somewhere in the video or some way to check the current time in any point in the video, so i could at least match up the two videos to be able to achieve similar results.

I'm not so sure about the program, but Bandicam - it definitely records both your webcam and the game at the same time. It even places the webcam overlay in the corner (you can set the size and location) and outputs one merged video file!

It purely works from Snow Leopard onwards. you could unquestionably use different apps that enable you checklist your exhibit which comprise Voila, Jing.. To get to ten.7, you ought to first improve to Snow Leopard and then improve to Lion(10.7)
