They ae 250 calories each and 9 gram protein. The case I have now is apple flavored. Even healthy adults need at least 30g protein for good muscle tone.
I am older than the average so-called senior citizen and I have never used protein shakes, ever, instead I eat a lot of red meat. I can match muscle for muscle any senior citizen who lives on protein shakes. btw, drinking protein shakes and or eating red meat alone does not make for better muscles, one must also include a little physical exercises.
I buy the Walmart house brand of chocolate protein shakes and keep them in the refrigerator to grab when I have no time to eat a real meal. They are delicious. I have no way of knowing if they work, but they taste good and keep me from wilting before the next meal.
If noting else, I think they are a better choice than grabbing a Snickers Bar.

I use N.O. fury, professional strength pre workout drinks. I don't use protein shakes, but N.O. fury really works for more endurance at the gym. I am getting more cut up by using this and i buy it at Wal- Mart for 19.95.

No. You can get too much protein so says Dr. Oz. I drink milk and eat chicken.
I eat regular shakes and my muscles seem to be adequate.
I don't drink that stuff. I eat healthy meals every day.
