This year, I am going to be a senior. So far my class schedule consists, of
AP Spanish 5
AP Literature
Regular Gov/AP Econ (1st/2nd semester)
AP Statistics
H Physics
I am wondering if I am going overboard with my class schedule. I am on the dance team and we have practice everyday for 2 hours including weekend practice and performances at football games. On top of that I also have to do all of my testing SAT1&2 and ACT.
If I drop a class, it would be AP Lit.
Is it that important to have this many APs to get into a good college? Is this schedule managable? I took 1 AP and 2 H last year, and I got A's/B's in them.

Seems fine to me...
I've seen loads of students around me that have taken intense schedules and done well -
I took erm,
AP physics
AP gov/econ
AP Calc BC
AP US history
Academic Decathlon (4-6 hours of practice on weekdays, up till competition)
in my senior year, I did fine. (although my grades dropped once I got senioritis :P )
AP Spanish 5 will be a toughie, not in that you'll have a huge workload but because the class is just difficult in general
AP lit is sorta the reverse, regular stuff but tons of time spent writing
Reg Gov and econ will be a doozy, you'll have to write a lot too though :/
AP Stats will mostly be busywork, pretty easy but maybe boring
H Physics will probably be the challenge, in that it's a very difficult class, and the concepts can be hard to understand (although it might vary with your teacher)
If you only took 1 AP last year though you should make sure you're prepared for the workload...It might get a bit stressful when you're doing college apps (everyone dreads this), but if you pull through it'll obviously be worth it :)
Senior Class Schedule
Well i just graduated from high school this year and can tell you its not that bad, I had 4AP classes and was in cross country/track. As long as you manage your time well, you'll be fine. Besides, you said that you were a top student, so i believe you can handle it. Also i highly recommend taking AP classes because if you pass the AP tests, you save tons of money and are ahead in your classes in comparison to most other students
