Eddie Royal!!! I know you didn't see him play because if you did you wouldn't really be asking this question. Patten gets Brees, but you're counting on Colston's absence for his production - not his talent. Theres still Reggie Bush, Jeremy Shockey, Pierre Thomas, Devery Henderson, Robert Meachem, in addition to Patten.. The usual 10 targets or so that Colston got, split between 5-6 players is only an extra 2 looks for Patten.

Royal is their answer to Rod Smith retiring and Javon Walker goin to oakland. It's Marshall and him now... but Royal returns kicks as well so you get added value for a return TD or return yds.

get someone else in the free agent pool but out of those two I would chose eddie royal

those are your only options? there are probably better ones in the free agency pool than that. If i had to choose i would say patten....but i wouldnt want to have to choose that for my team....neither are solid fantasy options.
